Clock tower in Victoria Park, Kitchener as seen on Thursday, 19th September. Photo: Anish/conestoga

Historical clock tower of Victoria Park stands tall with building construction underway across the street. As the oldest park in Kitchener, it attracts visitors from the Waterloo region daily. Before the clock tower was moved into the park in 1975, there used to be a statue of Kaiser Williams I in the park.

This scene captures the blend of history and progress in the Kitchener area.
