Schneider Haus is the oldest building in Kitchener. Built in 1820, this house has been intact for over a century, and people visit it. During summers and autumn, the influx of people is even higher as per the people managing the house now.

Schneider Haus formed a development for the development of the city of Kitchener. The house and streets near the house laid a foundation that became the present city. People from Kitchener, Waterloo, Ontario, Germany, and other places in Europe visit this house.

As this house is connected to German and Austrian people, they visit it, making it an international tourist spot, not only a local travel spot. This place not only gives insight into the development of the city of Kitchener but also represents German and European culture.

Schneider Haus is now a museum, and they have things on exhibition. This house also has things on sale for people who want to take home things as memories. Schneider Haus is in the center of Kitchener and easily accessible.
