Once a landfill, McLennan Park is now one of Kitchener's most colorful green areas. It is situated at 901 Ottawa Street South and has playgrounds, a skatepark, a splash pad, and walking routes in addition to picnic spots. 

The park's hill offers breathtaking city views, making it a well-liked location for leisure and photography. 

McLennan Park is an excellent illustration of how sustainable development can transform underutilized space into a center for connection and recreation thanks to its dog park, sports fields, and community-friendly layout.
